WAP Design

Overview
WAP, the Wireless Application Protocol, is an enveloping term for browser support of XHTML, CSS, and .mobi. This course teaches practical design for applications that run in mobile phone browsers.

Though mobile phone markets have expanded to billions of users, mobile internet usability has lagged. In this one-day course, learn how to design a usable, engaging, attractive WAP site today, with current technology. This course is not about the future of design, but what you can accomplish today, with phones already on the market.

This course is one full day and is limited to 40 delegates.

Scott Weiss, CEO of Usable Products Company will teach this course in its entirety. Mr. Weiss is an 18-year veteran of usability research and design, spanning desktop software, the web, and mobile platforms. His book, Handheld Usability, is the pioneering text on mobile design.
